Tatiana Rivers  developed the concept of the Pink Grapefruit after being frustrated with the lack of quick healthy food options in Toronto. Tatiana has been involved in the food industry for the past 12 years.  After  studying  at the Paul Bocuse Culinary Institute in France, she worked in several restaurants and catering companies in Toronto (George, Auberge du Pommier, L-eat) and then started her catering company, La Petite Chef. In 2011,  Tatiana joined up with Leat to open L-eat Express, and then opened the Pink Grapefruit in 2013. You will often find Tatiana at the front counter because talking to all her amazing customers is her favourite part of the day. She loves to find new products from local artisans in Toronto and working on recipes with Chef Shaheed. Tatiana loves being a small business owner and has started the Moss Park BIA in order to help Moss Park become a vibrant community where small business can flourish. In the future she hopes to open many Pink Grapefruits! Stay tuned!



Chef Shaheed is the energy of the Pink Grapefruit. A one man show he single handily prepares all the food at the Pink Grapefruit. If you ever get a chance to look in our kitchen you will see some of the best dance moves in Toronto. Chef loves to dance while cooking and it’s a real treat to watch. Chef Shaheed is self taught and has been in the catering industry for over 10 years. Chef’s approach to food is a simple and clean  with a little hint of his Island background. His hot and sweet, honey-chili brussle sprouts or grilled broccoli with cumin are a perfect example. Nothing makes him happier than cooking for people and he loves it when you stop by and say hello!



Rebecca is our amazing manger. Her passion for coffee and tea knows no bounds and she welcomes the chance to tell you  about the brands we use. Her simple pleasures are making the perfect heart in your latte just to say she’s happy you came or brewing one of our  signature iced tea concoctions. She’s also amazing baker and our daily muffins are her own creations. Another food industry veteran, Rebecca is a skilled people person that expertly tackles our busy lunches, getting you served in minutes while giving you the personal attention you need.
